Kate Middleton ranked world's best-dressed pregnant star - with supermodel Lara Stone and Penelope Cruz not far behind

The Duchess of Cambridge continues to hold the top spot on Vanity Fair's annual International Best-Dressed List, so it comes as no surprise she has been voted the world's best-dressed pregnant star.
Ranking the world's most stylish expectant mothers, the magazine placed Alec Baldwin's wife, Hilaria, second, and Britain's rock royalty daughter Peaches Geldof third.
Halle Berry, Penelope Cruz and supermodel Lara Stone, with their closets full of figure-hugging dresses and numerous expertly-layered red carpet outfits, were not far behind.

While many pregnant women avoid belly-hugging clothing, bright colors, and luxurious fabrics - instead opting for elastic waists, and materials synonymous with comfort, like Lycra, jersey, and cotton - these stars have no lack of style inspiration.
Kate Middleton, for example, has set the maternity-fashion bar high.

Her classic pieces have inspired and influenced the wardrobes of countless mothers-to-be, concealing her relatively small bump with three-quarter-length coats and knee-grazing skirts that draw attention to her toned legs.
Meanwhile Mrs Baldwin, 28, has become famous for her simple, low-maintenance pregnancy style.
The yoga teacher favors body-hugging, sleeveless dresses that highlight her strong limbs.
Ms Geldof, 24, has taken a cue from old-world Hollywood glamor, showing off her baby bump in sophisticated gowns - 'considerably more maternal than her (occasionally barely clothed) wild-child days of yore,' wrote Vanity Fair.

Ms Cruz, who is expecting her second child, has style with signature styles she she favored pre-pregnancy - like a belted waist.
Favoring tight, floor-skimming black-tie outfits in eye-popping colors in Ms Stone, who plays down her seductive style with off-duty hair and lips.
Ranked ninth is Margherita Missoni, pregnant with her first child, while model Eva Herzigová follows for tenth place thanks to her downtown and 'decidedly un-dowdy' maternity wear.

Mummy's little helper! Cruz Beckham pushes sister Harper through Paris on shopping trip with Victoria and the boys

He might be the youngest of the Beckham boys, but Cruz is clearly out to prove that he's just as responsible as the others.
The eight-year-old carried out his brotherly duties on Saturday, looking after sister Harper while the family hit the shops in Paris.
Obviously happy to let her son look after the tot, Victoria followed closely behind with Romeo and Brooklyn, making the most of their weekend break.

Cruz might only be little himself, but he certainly showed that he has maturity beyond his years as he was given the important job of looking after his sister during the family day out.
Looking like he was taking his new role seriously, the youngster helped the doorman of Bon Tot lower Harper's pushchair onto the pavement.
Stepping in to lend a hand, youngest Beckham boy then took control of the buggy himself, striding off with it through the busy street.

At one point he even decided that the sun was too bright for his sister's eyes, pulling the hood down so that it covered her face.
But although Victoria, 39, and her mum looked happy for Cruz to be taking charge, Harper seemed a little less impressed.
The 21-month-old, who was dressed in a cute lemon yellow smock, white trousers and £29.99 Zara boots put her hands over her head as she was pushed along with her brother, wearing a concerned expression.

Fashion designer Victoria, who spent her birthday on Wednesday in London with the children, looked perfect for the bright spring day.
As stylish as ever, she wore high-waisted 70s style flared jeans with a loose-fitting grey T-shirt tucked into the top and high-heeled shoes.
She wore her dark hair long and wavy and covered her face with dark glasses, evoking a bohemian and retro vibe.

The family have been spending the last few days in the city to spend time with David, who has been busy training with new team Pair Saint-Germain.
Cruz seems to have got his chivalrous ways from his footballer father, who recently admitted that he tries to teach his sons good manners.
'Me and Victoria were brought up with strong discipline by our parents and to have respect for people and our boys have definitely got that,' he said in an interview with Man About Town.
'They've been saying their please and thank-yous since they were two or three years old. They're very polite boys,' he added.

Michel Hazanavicius biography

Michel Hazanavicius ; born 29 March 1967, is a French film director, producer and screenwriter best known for his 2011 film, The Artist, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture at the 84th Academy Awards. It also won him the Academy Award for Best Director. He also directed spy movie parodies OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies and OSS 117: Lost in Rio.

Life and career

Hazanavicius was born in Paris. His family is Jewish, and originally from Lithuania. His grandparents settled in France in the 1920s. Before directing films, Hazanavicius worked in television, beginning with the Canal+ channel, where he started as a director in 1988. He began directing commercials for companies such as Reebok and Bouygues Telecom, and then, in 1993, he made his first feature-length film, La Classe américaine, for television. The film, co-directed with Dominique Mézerette, consisted entirely of footage taken from various films produced by the Warner Bros. studio, re-edited and dubbed into French. In 1997,Hazanavicius directed his first short film, Echec au capital, and followed it up with his first theatrically released feature, Mes amis, which starred his brother, actor Serge Hazanavicius.
Seven years later, Hazanavicius wrote and directed his second feature, OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies, a parody of 1960s spy movies and specifically of OSS 117, a popular character created by Jean Bruce in 1949. The $17.5 million film was a modest box office success, with $23 million worldwide receipts. A sequel, OSS 117: Lost in Rio, followed in 2009. Both films were later distributed in the United States by Music Box Films. The Artist, a black and white film without dialogue which takes place in Hollywood on the eve of sound film, screened in competition at the 2011 Cannes International Film Festival. The Artist was later released to universal acclaim. On 24 January 2012 Hazanavicius received nominations for three Oscars: the Academy Awards for Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Film Editing. Hazanavicius said winning an Oscar would be "like dreaming of going to the moon – you don't really believe it could ever happen." Hazanavicius won the Academy Award for Best Director for The Artist, at the 84th Academy Awards.
He contributed a section to the omnibus film The Players (Les Infidèles) starring Jean Dujardin. He has announced that his next feature film will be a remake of the 1948 Fred Zinnemann film The Search. The film will star Berenice Bejo in the Montgomery Clift role as an NGO worker helping a little boy find his family in modern day Chechnya and will be produced by Thomas Langmann.
Hazanavicius was in a relationship with film director Virginia Lovisone, and they had two daughters together, Simone and Fantine. He is married to Bérénice Bejo, who acted in his films OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies and The Artist. Hazanavicius and Bejo have two children together: Lucien and Gloria.

Sweet November (2001 film)

Sweet November is a 2001 romantic drama film starring Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron, reuniting the actors after their previous appearance as husband and wife in The Devil's Advocate. The film is based on an earlier version made in 1968 and written by Herman Raucher. Due to the poor response the film received from critics it was nominated for Worst Remake or Sequel and both Reeves and Theron nominated for Worst Actor and Worst Actress at the 22nd Golden Raspberry Awards.

Plot

Nelson Moss unexpectedly meets Sara Deever, a woman very different from anyone else he has ever met. His ignorance leads to her failing her DMV test. She beguiles him and continually asks him to spend a month with her on the promise that she will change his life for the better. On the first night of November, after Nelson gets fired and dumped in the same day, she sleeps with him, and the next day Chaz, (a close friend of Sara's) arrives and is able to identify Nelson as Sara's "November".
Throughout November, the two experience happy times together and fall in love. During the month and their adventures, Nelson examines his life and past and befriends a fatherless child called Abner. Eventually, he realizes he is in love with Sara and asks her to marry him. It is revealed that Sara has terminal cancer, Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Because she cannot bear to have Nelson experience her death, she asks him to leave. Sara tells Chaz that Nelson proposed to her. Chaz says that it wasn't the first time that a man had proposed, implying Sara has had numerous "months". Sara confirms this but claims it was the first time she had wanted to say yes. She decides she will not continue the relationship to protect Nelson from getting hurt. Nelson complies, but then stages a surprise return during Thanksgiving, giving her gifts that remind her of their happy times.
They stay together for one more day; he posts November calendars all over her apartment walls, saying it can always be November for them. They make love, but the next morning, Nelson finds Sara is dressed. She asks him to leave, with all his calendars taken down. Nelson becomes confused and heartbroken. Sara asks Nelson to let her go so that he will always have happy memories of her and explains that this is how she needs to be remembered. She will return home to her family (whom she had been avoiding) and face her last days. The movie ends with Sara blindfolding Nelson (a revisitation of an activity they had done earlier in the month), giving him one last kiss, and then walking away. Nelson then takes off the blindfold in tears, and is later shown at a park they went to on one of their dates. ramin ramezani sarajari
